ATHENS – Athens Pride Festival 2022, which kicked off on June 10, culminates its festivities in the traditional parade that will start at 7:00 pm on Saturday at Syntagma Square.
Under the title “Unconditional”, this year’s celebrations focused on promoting “unconditional education, unconditional equality to marriage and family, unconditional safety, and an unconditional life overall,” according to the festival’s official description. They year’s festival was also called an “unconditional celebration” by the organizers.
Events included concerts, exhibitions, live performances, film screenings and discussions.

ATHENS – The toll of wives and partners being murdered in Greece – more than one a month – rose after police said a 53-year-old man allegedly stabbed his wife to death and drove off a cliff in an apparent suicide attempt while trying to flee.
