Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyiannis Meets with Microsoft CEO Brad Smith

ATHENS — Microsoft President Brad Smith paid a visit to Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyiannis on Friday, accompanied by CEO of Microsoft in Greece, Cyprus and Malta Theodossis Michalopoulos.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Athens Democracy Forum, and it took place at the Athens City Hall.

A statement by the municipality said they discussed issues related to "the use of technology in strengthening democratic institutions, improving existing services to residents and helping in in-depth decision-making."
