Athens and Epidaurus Festival: Performances only at Herod Atticus and Epidaurus

ATHENS – Τhe artistic director of the Athens and Epidaurus Festival Katerina Evangelatou announced on Thursday that only the Herod Atticus Odeon and Epidaurus theatres will open their doors this summer in order to host some of the performances, mostly by state agencies, that were initially scheduled, while the rest will be postponed until the summer of 21.

The venue Piraeus 260 will remain closed due to technical limitations and the poor acoustics in its garden, which does not lend itself for putting on plays designed to be performed indoors.
