Arianna Warms Hearts and Stirs Minds

NEW YORK – Media Mogul Arianna Huffington was the featured speaker annual Spring Luncheon of the Archdiocesan Cathedral Philoptochos at the Central Park Boat House on a dazzling Friday afternoon in Manhattan.

The guests of the sold out event, people of numerous generations and professions, mainly but not entirely women, were welcomed by Catherine Moutoussis, Cathedral Philoptochos President and Fr. Anastasios Gounaris, Dean of the Cathedral, offered the invocation.

Huffington was introduced by Vily Apostolatos and Olga Bornozi, the co-chairs of the event. The most touching moment was when she said her new Book, Thrive, is dedicated  to her mother.
