Ferries remain docked at most Greek ports on Thursday due to strong northerly winds of up to 9 on the Beaufort scale in the Greek seas.

There were no ferry services to the islands of Cyclades from the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio while only closed-type ferries were sailing to the islands of the Saronic Gulf.

The ferry route Aghia Marina-Nea Styra was also closed.

Passengers due to travel on Thursday should contact local port authorities or their travel agents before setting off.
