WELLESLEY, MA – On August 6, Democrat Chris Zannetos, running for Congress to represent the 4th district of Massachusetts, released his first TV ad highlighting his experience creating jobs and being a business leader who put the interests of his employees over himself.

“I never thought I’d run for office, but Congress is broken and it will take different kinds of leaders to fix it. I’m the only Democrat running in MA-4 who has created hundreds of good-paying jobs. I’m the only Democrat running who has worked in the tech industry. As our next Member of Congress, I’ll work tirelessly to help working people and young people get the skills they need to get better-paying jobs,” remarked Zannetos.

“We cannot have social justice without economic justice,” continued Zannetos. “Better-paying jobs is an important part of economic justice.”

The ad, airing this week across Providence broadcast TV and Boston-area cable TV, highlights Zannetos’ tenacity as an entrepreneur and depicts his fierce dedication to his employees. Two of Zannetos’ former employees note in the ad that “he has some of the greatest integrity of anybody that I know,” and “when the company struggled, Chris cut his own pay instead of laying off workers.”

Zannetos founded three companies and created hundreds of good-paying jobs, resulting in over $250 million in salaries for Massachusetts residents.

The most recent Federal Election Commission reports revealed that, as of July 1, the Chris Zannetos campaign had $500,000 cash-on-hand (COH), the 4th highest of any candidate in the 9-way primary to succeed Congressman Joe Kennedy.
