Mitsotakis Meets with Heads of CDP and TERNA SpA

ATHENS- Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Friday had a meeting with a delegation from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti SpA (CDP) and TERNA SpA (an independent electricity grid operator) at the Maximos Mansion.

According to sources, the two sides exchanged views on energy and environmental issues and explored the possibilites for joint ventures and initiatives between Greece and Italy in the private and public sector, ahead of Mitsotakis' visit to Rome on November 26 where he will attend a working dinner with his Italian counterpart Guiseppe Conte.

The Italian delegation was comprised of the Ambassador of Italy to Greece Efisio Luigi Marras, the CFO and general director of CDP Fabrizio Palermo, the CEO and general manager of TERNA SpA Luigi Ferraris, the chief investment officer of CDP Pierpaolo Di Stefano and the head of External Relations & Sustainability at TERNA SpA, Luca Torchia.

Others attending the meeting on the Greek side included Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Constantinos Fragogiannis, Deputy Environment and Energy Minister in charge of energy and natural resources Gerasimos Thomas, the head of the European Union issues bureau in the prime minister's general secretariat Dimitris Mitropoulos, the head of the economic bureau of the prime minister's general secretariat Alexis Patelis and the advisor to the diplomatic bureau of prime minister's secretariat Grigoris Delavekouras.
