Letter to the Editor: Response to Ambassador Theros’ We Forgot How to Do Things Right

Εθνικός Κήρυξ

To the Editor:

In Ambassador Patrick N. Theros’ article We Forgot How to Do Things Right, published in the April 10 issue of The National Herald, he states that in November 1949 the Greeks achieved complete victory over the Communists. How can he, in his position, call it a complete success when after the Communists retreated there were over 320,000 Greeks and the pethomazoma abducted into the Iron Curtain countries against their will? How soon we forget out history. If he wants to know more and some details, he should read the book, Kostas My Story, written about the unforgettable years we had to go through with the pethomazoma. Also, the first time in modern history people were forced out of their own country by their own people.

Thank you so much.
