Letter to the Editor: P.O. Tsakos Should Never Be Forgotten

To the Editor:

What a shame a young life, police officer Anastasios Tsakos, taken away so early. All because someone decided to drink and smoke weed and get behind the wheel of a car that destroyed a family – just isn’t fair. I think all of us should push for tougher laws. I’m sick and tired of everyone complaining about the police. They are always the first ones that are out there when you need help and are trying to protect us.

This officer, Anastasios Tsakos, did all the right things and look what happened to him for no reason. A stupid person got behind the wheel and took his life. I think we should honor him and name a street after him as soon as possible and remember him as a true Greek-American hero. And we should never forget him, and I think the Greek paper should get the word out to help this family any way we can. P.O. Anastasios Tsakos should never be forgotten. Thank you for your time.
