To the Editor:
I am concerned about NATO and the articles of its Charter, especially those related to a NATO member state being threatened by another state. When that threatening state is not a member of NATO, all NATO countries should run to help defend their fellow NATO state. Very nice. But when a NATO state attacks another state they say nothing and remain observers.
So what should be done now before it's too late? Change the articles. When a NATO state attacks another NATO state, the whole of NATO should defend the state that was attacked. And then Turkey will sit quietly.
