American Studies Seminar in Athens on the 70th Anniversary of the Marshall Plan in Greece

ATHENS - University students seeking to gain a better understanding of the United States are invited to attend a seminar exploring American politics, economics, society and culture.

According to newsletter from US Embassy in Athens "The 2017 American Studies Seminar’s theme will be: ‘70th Anniversary of the Marshall Plan in Greece.’ The keynote speaker will be U.S. Expert Edward Lengel, Chief Historian at The White House Historical Association, and Special advisor for the Woodrow Wilson Centre Presidential Library Foundation. Prominent Greek scholars and academics will also participate in panel discussions."

The Seminar will be held from Monday, May 8 to Wednesday, May 10 at 17:30 – 20:30 (every day), at the ALBA Graduate Business School at Deree - The American College of Greece (6 Xenias St., Athens). All lectures will be conducted in English. The admission is free and priority will be given to students. Certificates will be awarded following the seminar upon successful attendance of the three-day seminar.
