KALAMBAKA, Greece - Main oppposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who is paying a two-day visit to the region of Thessaly, on Wednesday visited the town of Kalambaka.
"I am not here to divide. I am here to say that either we finish them or they will finish us," he said and pointed out the need to believe in the change that can come. "Our job is to first of all persuade ourselves that we do not deserve this misery. The message of the euroballot on May 26 should be a very strong message," said Mitsotakis.
According to ND's announcement, Mitsotakis said that support for ND in the euroelections was "imperative". "We are the only force today that can provide a solution to Greece's problems," he said.
Later, Mitsotakis will visit the city of Trikala and in the evening he will make a speech in Larissa.
