Greece Reports 482 New COVID-19 Cases, 10 Deaths on Saturday

ATHENS -- Greece reported 482 new confirmed novel coronavirus infections on Saturday, with 46 people linked to known clusters and 19 detected at the country's entry points.

The National Public Health Organization announced that all cases since the pandemic arrived in Greece in late February total 24,932. 

A total of 83 people are intubated. Their median age is 66 years, 95.2 pct have an underlying condition or are aged 70 or more. 

In addition, another 10 deaths were reported on Saturday, which raises the total number of fatalities to 500, of whom 188 were women. The median age of the deceased was 79 years, and 96.2 pct had an underlying condition and/or were al least 70 years old.
