BINGHAMTON, NY – Members of Leonidas Chapter 77 in Binghamton, NY continue their efforts giving back to their community this holiday season by promoting and self-funding a coat drive for needy local school children. With the preliminary work done by James Anastos, who reached out to two school guidance counselors to discuss the idea and receive the needed coat sizes for the K-5 classes. After identifying the needed boys and girls sizes for K-5 and 6-8th grade classes, Ananstos created a worksheet and assigned chapter members sets of the needed coats to purchase. Members then headed out to local stores and bought the coats.
