Archbishop Presides over Holy Wednesday Service at Saint Sophia in Jeffersonville

JEFFERSONVILLE, PA – The services of Holy Week continued at Saint Sophia-Saints Faith, Hope, and Agape Greek Orthodox Church in Jeffersonville on Holy Wednesday, April 28, with His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros presiding over the Orthros of Holy Thursday.

The parish is a vibrant and growing community of over 200 families. In April 2012, the community officially opened the doors to their new Byzantine style church, completing efforts that began in the 1960’s.
