Archbishop Meets with President of Cyprus- “Issue Is Over” (Vids)

NEW YORK – His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America met with the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades in New York on September 25.

The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Cyprus to the UN, in an effort to defuse the tension that erupted after the Archbishop attended the inauguration of the Turkish House.

"What matters is the unity of Hellenism. Therefore, after the explanations, if you want the apology of His Eminence, the issue is over,” said President Anastasiades to the media after the meeting which lasted about 20 minutes.
