Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
BOSTON – On Thursday, March 10, 2022, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros visited the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston together with His Grace Bishop Joachim and His Grace Bishop Athenagoras. They were greeted by Matthew Teitelbaum, Director to the MFA, as well as Christine Kondoleon, the George and Margo Behrakis Chair of the Department of Art of Ancient Greece and Rome, and Drake Behrakis.
They toured the George D. and Margo Behrakis Wing, which has undergone an ambitious and exciting transformation. Together with existing spaces, five new galleries of the Wing create a grand entry to the Museum’s collection of Greek and Roman art—one of the finest and most comprehensive in the world—and a new home for the collection of Byzantine art.
