Archbishop Elpidophoros to Deliver Wednesday Benediction at Democratic National Convention

NEW YORK – His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America has been tapped by the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) to deliver the Wednesday benediction during the course of the Democratic National Convention this week.

The convention, which will take place over four days starting August 17 and finishing on August 20, is the signature event for Democrats as they officially vote and make former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris their candidates for President and Vice President of the United States, respectively. The events to take place this week will be heavily effected by the COVID-19 global pandemic, with former Vice President Biden and Senator Harris slated to accept the nomination from a remote location rather than Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the convention is physically taking place.
