Androulakis: The Greeks of the Diaspora Are the Country’s Best Ambassadors

OTTAWA. CANADA – “I want to thank the expatriates of Canada for the great honor to invite me and spend together the great celebration of Orthodoxy. The Greeks of the diaspora play a leading role in the economic, social and scientific life of the countries they live in, which is why they are the best ambassadors of our homeland,” opposition party PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis said on Monday from Canada.

“We therefore have a national duty to embrace their anxieties, especially in the matter of education, where the needs have multiplied in recent years,” he added.
