Anastasides Visited by Lebanese DefMin

President Nicos Anastasiades and Lebanon`s Deputy Prime Minister and National Defence Minister, Samir Moqbel discussed the refugee crisis and terrorism in a meeting they held on February 15 in Nicosia.

“Moqbel, who is paying a two-day official visit to Cyprus at the invitation of his Cypriot counterpart, Christoforos Fokaides, was received by President Nicos Anastasiades,” CNA reported, adding that “An official statement issued here today says that during the meeting, they discussed international and regional issues, ways to handle the refugee crisis in the region and combatting terrorism, relations between Lebanon and the European Union and ways to further promote the already excellent bilateral relations.”
