ATHENS – The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AmchamGR) and its Real Estate & Development Committee open the discussion on how synergies between hospitality and real estate sectors can play a crucial role in increasing investments in the country. The high-level digital discussion, entitled Hospitality & Real Estate: Success Stories & Lessons Learned, was held online on May 28, with companies' success stories highlighting the contribution of the Greek real estate industry to the development of the hospitality sector.
In addition, a further discussion about real estate improvements that may utilize the full potential of hospitality services was also held. This event aimed to increase foreign investors' awareness about Greece's real estate sector capabilities and deliverables, while emphasizing the country's benefits from these investments.
The event was held in English and is part of a series of digital events under the title AmchamGR Digital Talks & Events related to important sectors and key parameters of the economy, investment, and entrepreneurship.
American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Elias Spirtounias gave the opening remarks for the event. He was followed by American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce President Nikolaos Bakatselos who gave the welcoming address.
Also offering welcome messages were Minister of Investment & Development Adonis Georgiadis and Minister of Tourism Haris Theoharis.
Founder & CEO of sikalidis.com and American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce President of the Real Estate & Development Committee Lefteris Sikalidis offered remarks as well to launch the event.
The discussion featured Andreas Andreadis, CEO and co-Managing Partner, Sani/Ikos Group & Honorary President SETE; George Vilos, Executive Director, Commercial & Business Development Fra port Greece; and Christos Kosmas, Partner, Financial Advisory, Deloitte Greece.
Moderator, George Bersis, Partner, PotamitisVekris & Member of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce Real Estate & Development Committee, served as moderator for the discussion.
