Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
FORT WORTH, TX – American Airlines has announced that beginning on June 3, it will launch new service for the Summer 2021 season from Athens, Greece to New York (JFK) on the Boeing 777-200, the Travel Daily News International (TDNI) reported on Jan. 25. Interested travelers can now book their flights for Greece.
Flagship Business, Premium Economy or Main Cabin tickets are available with WIFI and in-flight entertainment throughout the aircraft, TDNI reported.
American Airlines’ new route to Athens “marks a significant milestone as part of the new strategic alliance between JetBlue and American Airlines Group Inc.,” TDNI reported, adding that “the partnership offers customers enhanced connectivity and access to the biggest network in the Northeast,” while also offering a key opportunity for both carriers to “rebuild operations” following the COVID-19 pandemic.
This alliance will be integral for both carriers as they rebuild operations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
American Airlines Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Sales and Distribution Tom Lattig said, TDNI reported, “We are looking forward to launching our new route between New York and Athens, which will offer enhanced connectivity between these two great cities. The safety and comfort of our customers and team is always our top priority and we look forward to serving our customers on this popular business and leisure route.”
