Alexis Tsipras Visits Greek Emergency Aid Centre

ATHENS – Main opposition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras on Sunday (Easter) visited Emergency Aid Service coordination headquarters and expressed his gratitude to the employees for the work they offer in such a difficult period.

“I am happy I am here” said Tsipras and referring to the workers he said “We are grateful you are here these days”.

Tsipras was toured to the facilities by representatives of the administration.

“We are grateful to you for being in the frontline all day, seven days a week, to protect the society and to defend the life. We express to you our gratitude.

He also added that it is time EAS employees to be included in the heavy and hazardous professions.

Finally, he wished to the ambulances’ staff Happy Easter and strength.
