Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
NEW YORK – Alexander Patsos, a multifaceted artist based in New York City, is an actor, musician, and director. His creative journey began with his debut short film, ‘Tom’s Place’ (2006), which he wrote, directed, and produced, earning 1st Place in the Best Independent Short category at the CUNY College Film Festival and showcasing at several other festivals.
As an actor, Patsos has starred in the award-winning feature film ‘Vedic Nights,’ appeared in HBO’s ‘Divorce,’ and featured in global campaigns for prominent brands like Ultimate Ears & UE Fits, ECO Finance, La Brea Bakery, and in various print and commercial ads.
As a musician, Patsos has released two singles, ‘Beautiful Drive’ and ‘Cosmic Cry’ (2023), produced by Mike Williams of Composium Studios, marking a new chapter in his musical journey. He plans to expand this sound in 2024 and beyond.
Patsos shared an update on his career with The National Herald via email, noting that “I’m excited to share that I have recently signed on with Ray Talent for global representation based in Athens, Greece!”
“The founders of Ray Talent, Athena Xendiou and Ronan Le Du, have extensive experience in the ever-changing world of film and television in Greece, Europe, and the United States,” Patsos said. “As a team, they recognize that now, more than ever, it is crucial for creatives to reinvent their visibility for a resilient, healthy, long-term, and powerful presence.”
“I am honored to be part of this talented roster and grateful to the Ray Talent team for believing in me,” Patsos said. “From navigating the pandemic to making progress, I’m dedicated to reaching my goals.”
Of Greek and Italian descent, Patsos told TNH in a previous interview that his father, Dimitri, is from Kalamata, Greece, and his Italian-American mother, Cheryl, has roots in Rome and Calabria.
