AHI Invites Community to Mark 50th Dark Anniversary of Cyprus on Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON, DC – The American Hellenic (AHI) in conjunction with Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) and Rep Chris Pappas (D-NH), Co-Chairs of the Congressional Hellenic Caucus, invite the Greek-American Community and friends of Cyprus to the ‘Congressional Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Invasion of the Republic of Cyprus’ on Thursday, September 12, 8:30 to 10:30 AM at 2045 Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill.

According to its website, americanhellenicinstitute.org, “the American Hellenic Institute is an independent non-profit Greek American public policy center and think tank that works to promote the interests of the United States in Greece, Cyprus, the Eastern Mediterranean, and Southeast Europe, along with advocating issues important to the Greek American community.”
