AHEPA Evzone Chapter #405 Honors Graduates

NEW ROCHELLE, NY – AHEPA Evzone Chapter #405 was once again extremely proud to sponsor its annual Graduate Luncheon and Scholarship Award Ceremony at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, celebrating the community’s recent graduates and scholarship award recipients on June 19.

Approximately 150 people were in attendance to show support for the diverse group of young and talented individuals who graduated from high school and college, with some going on to further studies and others eager and ready to jump into the work force.

Chapter President Harry Fotiadis opened the event with a short introduction and congratulatory remarks. Protopresbyter Father Nicholas Anctil blessed everyone with a prayer and then proceeded to read off an impressive list of graduates and their accomplishments.

The ceremony then turned to its Scholarship portion, of which five awards were given out, one by the Ladies Philoptochos Society of Holy Trinity and one in memory of Linda Kyriakos Faustini. The final three scholarship awards were given out by Br. Joseph Keane, former President of the Chapter and Chairman of the Chapter’s Scholarship Committee. The future looks very bright!
