Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
NEW YORK – AHEPA District 6, which covers all of New York State with 30 Chapters, held a statewide District Veterans Zoom meeting on March 27. The meeting was well-attended by several AHEPA District 6 Chapters, Veterans of the U.S. and of the Hellenic Armed Forces. A second meeting will follow in early June.
The meeting was chaired by AHEPA District 6 Director of Veterans Affairs Michael Labatos. AHEPA District 6 Secretary Chris Pappis acted as the host. The special guest was Ahepan and Professor Nicholas Alexiou of Queens College. Attendees included Region 3 Supreme Governor Thomas Dushas, District 6 Governor Louis Katsos, and District 6 Lt. Governor Dean Moskos.
