A Total of 17 Houses Judged Unsafe to Inhabit on LesBos Due to Earthquake

MYTILENE – Checks and inspections for damage to buildings after the recent earthquakes on the island of Lesvos continued on Wednesday. A total of 17 residences, one place of business, one storage building and one public building have so far been classed as unsafe to use, in the municipalities of Mythimna and Mantamado, the infrastructure Ministry said.

In total, 109 buildings had been checked by the end of Tuesday.
