63rd Round of Exploratory Talks Between Greece and Turkey in Ankara

ANKARA — The 63rd round of exploratory talks between Greece and Turkey will take place in Ankara on October 6.

Referring to the 63rd round of exploratory talks with Turkey, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Monday during joint statements with his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides, after their meeting in Athens, said it was unacceptable that Turkey, through constant provocations and inflammatory statements, was trying to undermine the climate of the talks before they even start.

"Greece does not threaten anyone but nor is it intimidated by illegal actions," he stressed and added: "It will protect its sovereignty, it will protect its sovereign rights according to the International Law and the Law of the Sea."
