One of the healthier fats, avocado is the truly misunderstood fruit. So tasty in this pita recipe, this will quickly become one of your go to party recipes.
2 ripe avocados
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon coarse salt and pepper
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
2 small cucumbers, peeled, halved lengthwise, seeded, and cut into 1/2-inch dice
4 small radishes, halved and thinly sliced
4 pitas, top third cut off
Halve and pit avocados. With a spoon, scoop out avocado flesh, cut into chunks, and transfer to a medium bowl. Add orange juice and Tabasco sauce and season with salt and pepper. Mix gently to combine.
Add tomatoes, cucumber, and radish. Combine, and divide mixture among the 4 pitas.
