Emotional Psaros Credits Parents at HABA Fete

NEW YORK –  NEW YORK  – “Tonight does not belong to me, but to my parents. It is the living example of the word “Philotimo,” Michael Psaros, the honoree, declared at the 32nd Annual Executive of the Year Award Dinner of the Hellenic American Bankers Association.

The Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of the highly successful private equity firm, KPS Capital Partners, LP, a context where mental and other kinds of toughness mingle with integrity, respect, hard work and vision, had tears in his eyes as she spoke and turned to his parents, George and Maria Psaros, and his wife Robyn, at the renowned Union League Club in Manhattan.

The event many members of the community look forward to surpassed the expectations of Costas Kellas, HABA president, and the success of previous years. HABA’s web site noted for days that it was sold out.

Demetri Papacostas expressed the appreciation of the board for the event’s benefactors and acknowledged the presence of dignitaries, including the Consuls General of Greece and Cyprus, George Eliopoulos and Vassilios Philippou, respectively, and the Nikos Papaconstantinou, the director of the Greek Press Office.

More to come.
