Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Award-winning piano prodigy Stelios Kerasidis is only seven years old, but his remarkable talent is helping people get through the coronavirus lockdown with his latest classical composition, as reported in The Guardian and the New York Post among other media outlets around the world.
He began playing piano at age two and has dedicated his Isolation Waltz to the world, the Post reported.
Kerasidis said in his introduction to his piece, “Let’s all be a little bit more patient and soon we will all be able to go outside and go swimming in the sea,” the Post reported.
