Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump is attempting to unite the Greek-American community around his election campaign through the new Greek Voices for Trump online platform.
“This is the first time any US presidential campaign provides a platform to represent and cast a spotlight on our great Greek-American community. Greek Voices for Trump is a part of history, it will be a huge success, and I am proud to be part of it,” Christos Marafatsos, who is responsible for the platform, said to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).
According to the announcement, supporters can participate in “Greek Voices for Trump” by subscribing to greekvoices.donaldjtrump.com or by sending the message “Greek” to 88022. In addition, a limited edition of Trump’s signature hat has been released in blue (Greek Keep America Great Hat) to honour Greek contributions to American history and culture.
