Bank of Greece Announces Cash Balance in January 2020

ATHENS – In January 2020, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of 1,161 million euros, compared to a deficit of 415 million euros in the same month of 2019, Bank of Greece said in a statement on Friday.

During this month, ordinary budget revenue amounted to 3,723 million euros, compared to 3,931 million euros in the corresponding month of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to 4,630 million euros, from 4,406 million euros in January 2019.
