Greece the Honoured Country at the 11th Balkan Cheese Festival in Belgrade

Greece will be the honoured country at the 11th Balkan Cheese Festival that will be held on April 25-26 in Belgrade.

An announcement issued by the Greek Embassy to Serbia said the first Balkan Cheese Festival was held in 2014 and has since became an important event with the participation of cheese-makers from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia. At each festival producers from an honoured country are invited to participate. Past honoured countries include the Netherlands, France and Switzerland.

The festival attracts approximately 3,000 visitors, including commercial agents, hoteliers and restaurant owners.
