Celebrities Who Own Wineries

Orson Welles spent his golden years appearing in commercials in which he proclaimed in his inimitable voice: “we will sell no wine before its time.”  But he is far from having been the only celebrity associated with wine.

The following list includes current famous Americans who are involved in the wine industry, as full or part-owners of vineyards throughout the world.  These are the owners whose vineyards are in the United States, and, unless otherwise indicated, in California:

Former race car driver Mario Andretti, former NFL Quarterback Drew Bledsoe (Washington), musician Jonathan Cain, film director Francis Ford Coppola, former NFL player and coach Mike Ditka, actor Emilio Estevez, former skater Peggy Fleming, former NHL player Wayne Gretzsky, former race car driver A.J. Foyt, former major league pitcher Tom Seaver, pop star Madonna, and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.
