Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – The National Gallery of Art, a problem beset with funding and coordination problems, will be completed by March 2021, Culture Minister Lina Mendoni told the press at an informal Christmas briefing at the National Archaeological Museum cafe on Monday.
“The Gallery will be completed all together, building and collections, by March 2021,” she said.
Referring to the Cabinet meeting that had just concluded, she said that the only issue related to the ministry was the NSRF funding absorption, which is only close to 15 pct. The ministry’s absorption rate will accelerate, she asserted, and “no projects will be left unfinished.”
