  1. What’s he supposed to do? None of them do anything or affect any outcome? Dead weight. Did you see GOA annual budget? Line item $400.000 for “retirement payments for 4 bishops” . Really? The GOA is a personal check book for the hierarch cheaters, it’s not a real church organization. Think Ravenite Social Club.

    1. Michael, Retired CPA, do either of you know him? Read the resume. The only thing that’s missing is the formidable array of scholarly works he’s published. His work at the HCHC library is extraordinary. The library is of the highest quality and it is highly regarded by other schools. His work and contributions to the church and the school are immense and he is the type of clergyman who is a great example for clergy and seminarians alike. That’s the kind of bishop you want around those who would be priests.

    2. Right, he’s a great book collector. So make him Head Librarian. What’s he supposed to do as a bishop?

  2. Ah, such great knowledge that comes from cynicism. One thing is for sure. He will be a better example of what a bishop should be than the sorry lot presently in the GOA.

    1. Yeah sure, 1908, and he will require $20k of robes and jeweled dunce hats from our pocketbooks because he’s such a good example. Just like Jesus on Palm Sunday. When are you going to man-up and stand up for the victims ? ( that’d be us, bro).

He may be a nice guy, but that’s not what this is about. It’s about leadership, honesty, mission, humility, accountability and most of all salvation. If you don’t get that, then you need the large dose of cynicism that I can administer.
