Psarotherma Hot Springs on Samothrace Recognised as Therapeutic

SAMOTHRACE, Greece – Tourism Minister Haris Theocharis on Monday signed a decision according to which the hot springs “Psarotherma” in the area Therma on Samothrace were recognised as therapeutic.

“The issue was pending almost for four years as the request was submitted by the municipality in December 2015” said a ministry announcement.

Therma or Loutra is the largest tourist centre of the island, known for its hot springs and the unique and special natural environment with main characteristic the rushing waters from the rivers that form waterfalls and small lakes.
