Archbishop Elpidophoros has not stopped working for a minute, paving the way for his arrival – in just a few days – in the United States.

He is visiting the leaders of the political parties of Greece, large and small, without distinction, as well as its religious leaders.
And what he is doing is right and useful on two levels:

First, it is good to have a personal relationship with them, as it will come in handy when America’s Archbishop needs …

  1. Abba John the Dwarf said :

“You don’t build a house by beginning with the roof and working down. You begin with the foundation. They said, ‘What does that mean?’He said, ‘The foundation is our neighbour whom we must win. That is the place to begin”

The foundation of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America are the Greek Orthodox Christians IN America whom the archbishop “must win.”

Cultivating contacts with leaders in Hellas “as well as its religious leaders” serves his post-American ambitions more than his ministry (not even begun) in America.

  2. Yes, ElpiDoody’s success with struggling American parishes and with cleaning up corruption and incompetence depends greatly on how much time he spends with Greece officials in Greece the epicenter of corruption in Europe.

Who doesn’t understand the importance of that fact and the fact that he will replace the Holy Trinity with Zeus, Poseidon, and Athena?

We must thank Mr. Bobby Bursa for taking in this most difficult assignment.

For no reformation of so great importance can be effected by them, as will compensate for the mischief arising from their schism.”

    – St. Irenaeus of Lyon

May God grant us his Holy Spirit so that all may see this man for what he is.

  4. When and why would he need the “motherland’s” cooperation? Rather, it is the other way around, for Greece and the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Greek Americans have long been generous and philanthropic in many ways in Greece and, let’s face, without the financial support of the GOA and the Archons, well, where would the EP be today? Both need the GOA.

  5. Greece has squandered US/EU aid on maniuplating expartiate Hellenism to lobby for more such funds, which now are bound to be cut off.
