Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
The name of Nikos Kotzias, the former Foreign Minister of Greece, has been officially linked to George Papadopoulos.
There it is, on page 93 of the Mueller report:
“Papadopoulos admitted telling at least one individual outside of the Campaign — specifically, the then-Greek foreign minister — about Russia’s obtaining Clinton-related emails.”
But that was already known.
On November 26, 2018 I wrote that Papadopoulos told George Stephanopoulos that he gave this information to an Australian diplomat and to the then-Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias.
And in one of my commentaries in January 2019 I wrote: “The newspaper Epoch Times reported that George Papadopoulos, in a sworn statement to Congress, revealed the name of a member of the Trump campaign that he believed was an agent of the American intelligence services…” And the newspaper continues: ‘The alleged spy began contacting Papadopoulos around the time that Papadopoulos met with the foreign minister of Greece [Kotzias] in May 2016.’”
The article also reported that, “The alleged spy then re-emerged months later, in September 2016, asking Papadopoulos to attend a meeting between the Greek foreign minister and two senior Trump campaign members… Michael Flynn, and Jeff Sessions.”
The reference to Kotzias, in the Mueller report, however, officially unveils the revelations about Papadopoulos and the Greek Foreign Minister, who has now entered American political history.
Thus, the questions I put to Kotzias in the past remain – indeed they increase in importance:
Who introduced Kotzias to Papadopoulos? Was their relationship friendly or official?
Why did Papadopoulos entrust this extremely sensitive information to Kotzias?
Why did the Greek Foreign Minister assume the risk of taking part in a pre-election meeting with Flynt and Sessions, and who introduced him to them?
Did Kotzias have other contacts with the Trump campaign, and if so, where and with whom did he meet?
What did Kotzias do with the bombshell information given to him by Papadopoulos? Did he give it to the Russians, the Obama administration, the Trump campaign – or did he keep it to himself?
Did he inform Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras?
