Michalis Veziris: I Remember 1920

I would like to share with you the following fictional story based on real events in 1920:

I arrived in America onboard the Greek passenger liner Olympia which docked in New York harbor in early 1920. We were taken to Ellis Island to have our entry papers checked by U.S. immigration officials. They found mine in good order and was now free to enter America. The ferry took us with our worldly possessions to New York from Ellis island.
