Hellenic Bank Association Elects George Hantzinikolaou President

The Board of Directors of the Hellenic Bank Association (HBA) unanimously elected, on Tuesday, chairman of Piraeus Bank George Hantzinikolaou as the new HBA president.

The chairman of Alpha Bank Vassilis Rapanos and the chairman of the National Bank of Greece Konstantinos Mihailidis have been elected the new HBA Vice Presidents.

The newly elected president of Attica Bank, Georgios Michelis, was appointed member of the Board of Directors, while the upcoming new chairman of Eurobank Ergasias, will, when elected, also become an HBA Board member.

The HBA Board of Directors and the secretary general thanked outgoing President Nikolaos Karamouzis, who served since 2016, for his excellent and invaluable contribution to Greek banking.
