Meropi Kyriacou Honored as TNH Educator of the Year
NEW YORK – Meropi Kyriacou, the new Principal of The Cathedral School in Manhattan, was honored as The National Herald’s Educator of the Year.
ATHENS – Four police officers were injured during clashes with members of anti-establishment groups outside the Athens Court of Appeals on Monday.
Prior to the violent clash there had been a heated verbal exchange between two police officers appearing as witnesses in a case on trial. When the police officers exited the court room, there was an attack by anti-establishment group members, in which four police men were injured.
They were taken to the 401 General Military Hospital.
