Time for a New “Oxi”


As Greeks in Greece and throughout the world prepare to celebrate the 78th anniversary of “the ‘no’ heard around the world” – “Oxi” – the atmosphere in the Hellenic Republic is far from festive.

From World War II to every crisis since, as awful as they were and as uncertain as their outcomes seemd to be, eventually, they reached their silver linings at the end of the clouds. And with the crises facing Greece nowadays, this too, shall pass.
