Something’s Rotten in Greece’s Refugee Centers: Kammenos

I love the smell of corruption in the morning. Smells like… defeat.

But what’s that smell in Greece’s detention centers and camps on islands and the mainland where 64,000 people are living in raw sewage, without enough toilets or medicine, among, rats, mice, cockroaches, not enough drinking water and with the one on Lesbos “the worst in the world” the BBC said after a nose-holding visit?

Could some of it be wafting off Defenseless Minister Panos “Mine! Mine!” Kammenos, a rich man …
