Black Power in the New South?

A surprising result of Democratic party primaries is that three African-Americans will be the Democratic candidates for governorships in the South: Andrew Gillum in Florida, Ben Jealous in Maryland, and Stacy Abrams in Georgia. A win by one would be significant. Wins by two would be a game changer. Wins by all three would indicate a shift in the tectonic plates of American politics.
