Greece Distinguished at the Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Awards 2018

Greece won two first places and three total prizes at the Conde Nast Traveller 21st Annual Readers’ Awards 2018, in a ceremony held in London. Specifically, Greece received:

– The 1st place in the “Best islands/Favorite Islands” category.

– The 1st place and top prize for “The World’s Top 100” category as well as the greatest number of votes of the readership in all categories for the Greek Islands, with the percentage reaching 95.63 pct.

– The 2nd place in the category best/favourite countries in the world.

According to the Hellenic Tourism Organisation (GNTO), the result reflects the effectiveness of the tourism ministry’s PR and promotional strategy abroad. The three prizes were received by the head of the GNTO Office of United Kingdom and Ireland, Emmy Anagnostopoulou.
