The Three Presidents Who Died on the Fourth of July

A fascinating yet largely overlooked fact is there is only one date in the year on which three different presidents have died: July 4, which ironically happens to be the birthday of the very nation they led.

Moreover, they are not three random presidents; all of them are Founding Fathers and consistently appear the upper echelon of presidential historians’ rankings. They are, in order of election, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Monroe.
