2014 Carnival of Love Unique Again

NEW YORK – On Saturday June 7th 2014, from 7-11 PM the Carnival of Love Foundation will be hosting their 7th annual special fundraising event.

“The Carnival of Love Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness to enhance the quality of life, health and well-being of children in need,”  according to the Foundation’s website.

Fundraising for children has been the mission from the start and fantasy was the essence of the parties that were the vehicle. Guests never knew exactly what they would encounter inside, but the costumes, decorations and entertainers ranging from aerialists to snake charmers to dancers would transport them to another world for an evening and people were sure that every year it would be something new.

This year they will host their first ever Children’s Carnival and it will take place at Victorian Gardens, a family amusement park at Wollman Rink in NYC’s Central Park

“With the sparkling skyline as a backdrop, the evening will include carnival rides, games, live entertainment, music, an auction, healthy snacks and informational resources to learn about nutrition and fitness options for children.”

This year the Foundation will focus on raising funds and awareness to support children in the areas of wellness, nutrition and fitness. Certain diseases that will be emphasized include, but are not limited to, obesity a diabetes.

Tickets are $30 for kids and $50 for adults. Children 2 & under are Free (height restrictions apply)

According to the Foundation’s press release, “100% of the proceeds raised from ticket sales, raffles & personal donations during The Carnival of Love Fundraiser will directly benefit the causes above.”
